SEEDS OF SOLIDARITY FUNDING DRIVE

/ 010 / TAKE-HOME DISHES

100% of proceeds will be (equally divided) in honour of:

We Must Plant – a grassroots initiative organized by the Gezira and Managil Farmers' Alliance and supported by organizations like the Sudan Solidarity Collective and Sudanese Resistance Front.

Revive Gaza’s Farmlands –  a project led by the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature, aiming to rehabilitate Gaza’s agricultural sector and restore local food systems to combat famine and counter the blockade.

In support of We Must Plant (Sudan Solidarity Collective / Sudanese Resistance Front) and Revive Gaza’s Farmlands (APN Org), Land stewards across Turtle Island are co-organizing during Harvest season to improve frontline resources through mutual aid.

As tenders to the Land, our praxis must continue to prioritize the perpetuity of agricultural sectors throughout The Global South as Indigenous soils, labourers and plants pose relentless threats to imperial regimes. As much as material solidarity is of impact, it remains our responsibility to supersede unilateral ways of organizing and continue to resist alongside Indigenous kin in our shared backyards.

‘010 / Seeds of Solidarity’ offers two curry combos for take-home nourishment. Savour with a loved one or pay-it-forward for a neighbour, we invite folks to place orders (via our website) to support us in raising over $1000 for both campaigns. Orders will then be available for pick-up on Mon. Oct 13th from 2:30 - 7:30 pm via Ruru Baked ‘s takeout window at Bloor and Lansdowne.

All veggies, herbs + aromatics are fresh from the Land. Many, (and we mean, many) goodies are courtesy of the generous hands of Joanne. Thank you dearly for your labour, Joanne. It’s a privilege to know you.

Hand doodles, paper stains, + all visual seriousness included, we thank Ayo, for.

You’re a gift, sweet one.
